Caught ya!

Caught ya Madeline!
This is my Roommate Madeline (She wasn't too happy about me taking a picture of her right before class). Madeline is wearing:
  -yellow cotton t-shirt,
-black polyester running shorts
-black rubber flip flops
- red leather Marc by Marc Jacobs cross-body bag

This outfit is what most students (including myself) wear daily. It's easy to throw on workout clothes before class because the fabrics are usually stretchy and comfortable. Most of the time Madeline dresses up for class, but since she had a test this morning she decided that comfort was key after a long night of studying! Clearly this picture reflects the typical college student and the occasional need for comfort over fashion!

Blogging 101

Im just a regular college student who is a little strapped for cash these days since I'm a girl and we girls love to spend money. The purpose of this blog is to offer some tips on how to look cute while on a college girl's budget. This is my first blog i've ever written, so here goes nothing!

This is the outfit that I decided to wear to work today:
-simple black cotton t-shirt $20
-printed a-line polyester skirt $32
-simple silver flats/ silver jewelry

Yes this outfit is simple, but this is what you get when you roll out of bed 10 minutes before work! The skirt is young and fun and the t-shirt is comfortable and something everyone has in their closet. The skirt is high-waisted which makes any girl look slimmer and the pattern is not too bright or busy. Overall it's budget friendly ($52) and makes me look my age. This is something most girls my age would wear and can by easily adapted according to personal style.

When I buy something I need it to transition from day to night by only adding  a few accessories and a good pair of heels/wedges. I could easily throw on some heels and blazer and be ready to go out in this outfit.
